Here are our top 5 bloggers for inspiring table settings, in no particular order...

  • Philippa James Photography- DIY Boho Vibe
  • Philippa James is a wedding photographer based in Oxfordshire with an amazing blog featuring incredible ideas drawn from the weddings she has photographed.  She has a fantastic blog post dedicated entirely to table settings that she has photographed, many of which can easily be adapted for more intimate dinner parties and events at home.  One of our absolute favourites is the ‘DIY Boho Vibe’ table setting, featuring handmade cement candle holders, and some gorgeously colourful and rustic floral bouquets, all served up on a classic wooden table top.  We love the way Philippa photographs this stunning table setting, and the setting itself is perfect for creating a dining atmosphere where your guests can feel relaxed whilst also appreciating the effort and creativity you have put into the evening!

  • Maria Provenzano- DIY Gingerbread House Place Setting
  • When you’re entertaining kids, an elegant and understated table setting may just end up going unnoticed.  There’s nothing more fun, however, than seeing the excitement on your favourite little ones’ faces when they sit down at a table decorated especially for them.  Maria Provenzano is a US based lifestyle expert, blogger and TV host with an absolutely gorgeous blog dedicated to her home craft ideas, as well as lots of fun recipes for cooking and baking.  Her ideas are bright, bold, playful and full of all-American charm!  We were absolutely won over by her DIY Gingerbread House place setting, which you can find on her site here: fromscratchwithmaria.com/blog/diy-gingerbread-house-place-setting  With the festive season well on its way, we think this is the perfect place setting to impress any little ones who may be joining you for a meal at Christmastime!  This place setting will require a bit of craftiness on your part, but it will all be worth it when you see those excited little faces!

  • Merouée- Quirky and Opulent Table Settings
  • If you’re looking for a table setting that marries quirkiness with opulence, look no further than the amazing ideas featured on Swiss interior design store owner Sandra Wirth’s blog Merouée.  This blog will inspire you to create amazing, Bohemian-style table settings using a variety of household items, ornaments and unusual objects.  Our absolute favourite is this gorgeous table setting featuring blushing pinks, crystal glasses and sea-themed objects like seashells and fish-shaped trinkets.

  • Katie Alice- Christmas Table Setting
  • Homeware brand Katie Alice has an amazing blog full of fun ideas based around their homeware designs, and we think their Christmas Table Setting (https://www.katie-alice.co.uk/blog/the-christmas-table/) is really something special.  Featuring quaint, vintage inspired tableware, layered for ultimate style and contrast, this table setting brings Christmas spirit with a real touch of elegant fun.  We love the rich-coloured festive bouquets contrasted with pastel coloured napkins.  The mix of textures on this table setting also gives a whimsical feel that makes a nice contrast from other festive table settings which can often look overly dense and heavy in colour and texture.  We love this Christmas table!
